Bradford & Bingley’s retail deposit business transferred to Abbey National plc on 29 September 2008. On 11 January 2010, Abbey National plc changed its name to Santander UK plc.

Q. What will happen to my Bradford & Bingley savings account?
A. There are no changes to your existing account(s) and you can continue to access your account by visiting www.bradfordandbingley.co.uk, or directly via www.santander-bbsavings.co.uk and logging on with your existing details.
You will be able to use www.santander.co.uk to log in and manage any Santander (previously Abbey) account(s) you hold. However, you will not be able to see any Bradford & Bingley account(s) here. We are working to bring everything together over time and will inform you of any changes in the future.
